What is PVD coating on stainless steel?
Our PVD coating stainless steel, with physical Vapor Deposition (PVD), is a process to produce a metal vapor (titanium, chromium and aluminum) that can be deposited on electrically conductive materials as a thin, strongly adherent pure metalor alloy coating. Using a cathodic arc source, the procedure is carried out in a vacuum chamber.
Coating compounds are made up of carbides, nitrides, borides, and silicides among other elements. By varying the gases used during the deposition, a wide range of colors can be created.
Why choose PVD coating?
1. PVD coating is one of the most effective ways to improve thin-film plating elements. A thin film of 0.1-0.3 microns is applied to the product using the vacuum deposition process.
2. PVD coatings are better to typical electroplated coatings in terms of corrosion resistance and hardness.
3. PVD coatings do not fade or tarnish, and they are resistant to UV rays.
Traditional coating procedures such as electroplating or painting are more environmentally friendly.
4. Cleaning Is simple
The stainless steel outside surface is very easy to clean.
5. Anti-bacterial
The PVD stainless steel’s outermost surface provides antibacterial protection. This is owing to the PVD coating’s thick and tightness. It speeds up the flow of water and oil through the surface, making it impossible for bacteria to grow on the surface.
6. A variety of rich colors available.
PVD coatings come in a variety of colors. Improve the performance of your kitchen and bath.
